Love Cuts.

So I’m doing a haircut, minding my own business, chatting and listening as usual, and SNIP! I cut myself. No big deal, I cut myself many times through the years. Better cut myself than the client. Cutting clients makes for another story! So there I was cutting Diane’s hair when I let out a little “ouch!” She obviously realized I had cut myself and asked if I was ok.  I was and showed the the cut which was nothing really and barely bled. Just turned red really. She went on apologizing and I told her she had nothing to do with my cutting myself. Then I started thinking about how long she and I go back. I’ve seen the loss of her mother. The marriage of her two kids, and now the birth of her 1st grandchild. She’s been there for me also. Seen struggles within my business, relationships come and go, and every 3-4 weeks we enter into each others lives and touch base and touch souls. She always makes it a point to bring presents, cookies, and always a warm smile when she comes into the salon, and I never take her for granted. But I have to laugh that with all that said, she felt the need to claim responsibility for my cutting my finger. What’s a little bloodshed between friends?

Cosmetologist and Stylist since 1986. I've been fascinated with people my whole life. What makes them react and do the things they do as individuals and humans. But also much deeper than the physical being and listen to their souls and their journey on this planet. I've been blessed to have touched so many, and to have them touch me in a way they're not even aware of. For that I will always be grateful.
